Job description

are seeking an Elite Senior Technology Architect to own the end-to-end solution architecture for global commercial capabilities (Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Bid, and Tender Management) in a dynamic pharmaceutical environment. Based out of Parsippany, NJ on a hybrid schedule, this pivotal role will evaluate technology platforms, design scalable integration patterns, drive robust data modeling, and provide hands-on architectural governance. The selected candidate will ensure high-quality delivery of data products and business intelligence applications that directly support strategic commercial forecasting and decision-making., ??Define target architectures, reference patterns, and solution blueprints for commercial platforms, data products, and downstream business intelligence/analytics applications.

??Evaluate commercial technology products (COTS) and software solutions against complex business requirements, factoring in scalability, security, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and vendor roadmaps.

??Design and govern data integrations across CRM, marketing platforms, and data lakehouses, establishing explicit data contracts, error-handling mechanisms, and monitoring frameworks.

??Lead the design of dimensional data models, curated data marts, and semantic layers to enable seamless, self-service BI reporting (via Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik).

??Review and approve high-stakes technical artifacts including architecture diagrams, HLD/LLD documents, interface specifications, and deployment strategies.

??Establish clear engineering governance standards for coding, CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps, data quality metrics, and regulatory data compliance (lineage, access controls, and retention).

??Partner closely with Sales Operations, Market Access, Finance, and IT executives to translate complex commercial needs into prioritized, implementable technical roadmaps.

Requirements

Primary (Must-Have):

??15+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture / Solution Architecture, specifically within the Pharmaceutical Commercial domain (Sales, Marketing, Market Access, or Commercial Analytics).

??Strong hands-on expertise in Data Modeling (Dimensional modeling, star schemas, and semantic modeling) and translating business KPIs into governed metrics.

??Proven experience designing and governing cloud integrations (APIs, event streaming, batch/file integrations, middleware/iPaaS), including non-functional requirements like performance, resiliency, and observability.

??Deep functional understanding of sales planning, forecasting, bid management, and tender management lifecycles.

??Demonstrated experience evaluating technology products (build vs. buy assessments) and reviewing/approving complex technical design artifacts (HLD/LLD, data models, and interface specs).

Secondary (Good to Have):

??Hands-on experience with commercial platforms and ecosystems such as Salesforce, Veeva CRM, and marketing analytics tools.

??Experience working with Cloud Data Platforms (AWS preferred) and standard data engineering patterns (Lakehouse architectures, ETL/ELT orchestration, and metadata management).

??Direct exposure to syndicated pharmaceutical datasets and commercial data sources (e.g., IQVIA, Symphony) and Master Data Management (MDM) concepts.

??Familiarity working within highly regulated life sciences environments requiring strict data governance, auditability, and secure data handling.
