Job description

We are looking for individuals with a strong computer and networking technical background and a commitment to customer service. Technician will be responsible for a wide range of tasks from updating drivers, troubleshooting network problems, managing and configuring servers, training customers, and software installation. We're looking for an efficient and detail-oriented professional with a background in networking, server administration, and workstation repair and support., * Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop computers, peripherals, printers, and mobile devices

  • Perform help desk duties to include troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues (Windows and macOS environments)
  • Set up and manage user accounts, email, permissions, and access (Microsoft 365 / Azure AD)
  • Support network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and WiFi access points
  • Diagnose and resolve WiFi and network performance issues
  • Provide technical support to end users in person, via phone, and remotely
  • Assist with on boarding and off boarding employees from a technology standpoint
  • Maintain IT inventory, documentation, and standard operating procedures
  • Coordinate with vendors and managed service providers as needed
  • Support cybersecurity best practices (patching, endpoint protection, access controls)

Requirements

Do you have experience in Wireless networking?, * 3+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, or systems technician roles

  • Strong understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and basic networking
  • Experience troubleshooting Windows-based systems (macOS experience a plus)
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and WiFi networking fundamentals
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and support multiple users efficiently

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Azure AD)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI)
  • PowerShell or basic scripting experience
  • Experience supporting remote or hybrid work environments
  • Exposure to VoIP systems and video conferencing equipment.
