Job description

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) Developer to design, develop, implement, and maintain enterprise integration solutions. If you excel at building seamless communication networks across complex business systems, optimizing data transformations, and working with modern middleware, we want to hear from you!, * Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to define scalable integration strategies aligned with business objectives.

  • Implement efficient, reusable, and scalable components to optimize system interoperability.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, interface specifications, and operational support procedures.
  • Monitor live integration performance and proactively recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.

Requirements

To excel in this position, your background must include strong experience across these core areas:

  • ESB Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience developing with major ESB platforms such as MuleSoft, Apache Camel, or IBM Integration Bus (IIB).
  • Integrations & Architecture: Deep understanding of system integration design, message routing, orchestration, middleware development, and message-based architectures.
  • APIs & Web Services: Solid experience with API development, REST/SOAP web services, and enterprise application integration (EAI).
  • Data Transformation: Strong knowledge of formatting and translation technologies like XML, JSON, and XSLT.
  • Troubleshooting: Proven ability to debug complex integrations, perform root cause analysis, and handle performance tuning.
  • Mandatory Background: State Government or Public Sector experience is REQUIRED for this role.

Preferred (Bonus Points)

  • Familiarity with Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP) and middleware best practices.
  • Experience with cloud-based integration platforms and modern API management tools.
  • Understanding of integration security standards (authentication, authorization, and data protection).
  • Experience utilizing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for integration deployments.
