Job description
We're hiring a core addition to our engineering team to rebuild an industry stuck in the early 2000s. You'll work closely with our founders, head of product, and design team in Berlin., * Designing, building, and shipping product features end-to-end, from early ideas to rollout and iteration.

Taking ownership of parts of the product and contributing to architectural decisions that shape how our systems evolve.

Collaborating closely with product and design to translate real-world operational workflows into simple, reliable, AI-enabled software

Help us shape engineering culture as we grow, be it Engineering Practices, Technical Standards or workflow optimisations., Focus on ownership mindset, product and outcome thinking, trade-off reasoning, and overall engineering and team fit. No system design or coding.

Technical Deep Dive (60-90 min) Deep dive into past work, including architecture decisions, trade-offs, scaling challenges, failures, and API/data model design.

On-site Interviews (2-3 hours max) Includes conversations with leadership and peers, a practical engineering exercise (debugging, small build task, or architecture walkthrough), and a focus on collaboration style, communication, and cultural fit.
Requirements
Do you have experience in TypeScript?, * You have shipped and operated production web applications end-to-end, and are comfortable owning features from idea through deployment and iteration.
- You are proficient in TypeScript and have strong experience with React and Node.js (or comparable modern full-stack environments).
- You are able to independently design, build, and deliver features with minimal guidance, including making pragmatic product and technical decisions.
- You understand how modern web systems work in practice, including APIs, frontend state management and backend architecture.
- You take ownership seriously: you care about outcomes, move quickly, and are comfortable making decisions in ambiguous situations without waiting for perfect specifications.
- German helps in day-to-day domain context and is a strong plus, but not required.

Compensation Range: €80K - €120K
