DevOps Engineer/SRE

ProPursuit is currently looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer for a client of ours in Munich who has over 18 million monthly user's and the largest in their field within German speaking countries.

The role will offer a hybrid remote module with at least 2 days on-site each week

Your role:

• The operation of a large web platform in a team, with everything that goes with it
• You make sure to build maintainable and stable solutions with appropriate documentation
• You actively help to reduce problems and complexity in existing solutions
• The active further development of the architecture of our platform and infrastructure
• As part of your job, you will work closely with your team and our software and data engineers
• You stand by your colleagues in the other departments with advice and action, and you are happy to pass on your
• knowledge and experience

Our tech stack:

• Nomad, Docker, Chef, AWS, Centos, Elasticsearch, Varnish, HAProxy, XtraDB, Jenkins, Minio, Ovirt, Linkerd, Redis,
• RabbitMQ, Graylog, Kafka, Terraform, Go, Python, Prometheus, Slack

• You have worked for at least 2 years as a Platform Engineer/DevOps/SRE (m/f/d), preferably in the web industry
• You have experience running a complex platform with self-managed hardware based on Linux and OSS
• You are confident in at least one programming language (Python or Go preferred) , whereby you value clear communication and maintainability of the code
• You have also gained experience with operating platforms in the cloud (at best with AWS).
• You would like to work self-organized with agile methods
• In planning, development and operation, you assume responsibility and show initiative
