Job description
In this role, you are responsible for managing, maintaining, and further developing the existing tooling landscape within CEVA. You play a key part in ensuring the reliable day-to-day operation of current data and reporting tools, supporting the transition to standard CEVA applications, and filling any functional gaps by developing lightweight tools or scripts where no standard solution is available.
Collaboration with business users, IT, and data teams is essential to guarantee that the tooling effectively supports daily operations. The position is primarily operational and service-oriented, with a strong emphasis on system stability, user support, and controlled change, rather than on complex data engineering or platform development.
As Digital Support Engineer you are going to do the following tasks:
Manage and monitor the existing tooling landscape (data and reporting tools, scripts, small applications); Analyze which tools need to be replaced by CEVA standard applications and coordinate/execute these migrations; Adjust and improve existing tools (e.g. scripts, reports, interfaces) based on changing requirements; Develop new lightweight applications or scripts when no standard solution is available; Create and maintain documentation for tools, data flows, configurations and procedures; Provide user support (2nd/3rd line): incident analysis, troubleshooting, minor changes; Identify structural issues and propose improvements to processes and tooling; and Safeguard data quality and consistency in the tools and integrations you manage.
WHERE ARE YOU GOING TO WORK?
Your workplace is at one of our locations in Venray, where we have a campus of four warehouses! There you will be part of the IT Team, consisting of 9 colleagues. You will do this in a driven and professional atmosphere, where there is plenty of room for fun and connection! You report to IT Manager and your working hours vary between 08:00 and 18:00.
Requirements
Do you have experience in System administration?, Do you recognize yourself in the following qualities?
Strong operational mindset with a focus on stability and reliability; Experience in application support, IT operations, or functional system administration; Understanding of how data and reporting support daily warehouse and operational processes; Application support and configuration; Basic SQL / data validation; Monitoring, incident handling, and root cause analysis; Scripting or lightweight automation (only where appropriate); Clear communication with operational users; Structured problem solving; and Sense of urgency and ownership.
