Job description

You will join my customers IT Support team, providing IT and facilities services across UK and US sites. They delivers advanced software solutions to clients in government, aerospace, defence, banking, healthcare, and other sectors.

Ensure high levels of system performance for onsite and remote users in a technical, professional environment, maintaining compliance with ISO, Cyber Essentials+ and other standards. The role requires broad technical expertise and close collaboration with fellow IT Support Engineers.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Provide 3rd line support across infrastructure, cloud, and security environments.
  • Act as the escalation point for 1st and 2nd line support teams.
  • Maintain and improve Azure, Microsoft 365, networking, and endpoint systems.
  • Lead and support infrastructure projects and continuous improvements.
  • Drive ITIL processes including Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
  • Contribute to IT strategy, planning, and disaster recovery activities.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and suppliers.
  • Deputise for the Head of IT when required.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
  • Participate in the support rota and provide onsite support at least two days per week.

Requirements

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior IT Support Engineer with a minima of 5 yeas experience. The tech skills required are Microsoft, Azure, Entra, Intune, Defender plus excellent networking expertise would be desirable and someone who is looking for a new challenge within a rapidly growing cyber security technology company., Minimum 5 years' hands-on technical experience across any of the following Essential - Azure, microsoft, entra, intune. Desirable - Networking, firewall, networking, switching. Nice to have - ITIL, laptop, server management.
