Job description

You'll be the first point of contact for many of our clients, which means you need to be as patient and personable as you are technically sharp. You'll troubleshoot remotely from our Lake Forest office most of the time, with occasional client site visits across Orange County and LA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Provide front-line support for hardware and software across Windows, macOS, and mobile devices (iPhone/Android)

  • Own the ticket queue - handle requests from open to resolved, and keep things moving

  • Troubleshoot networking issues including VPNs, DNS, firewalls, and LAN configurations

  • Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and peripherals

  • Manage user accounts and group policies in Active Directory

  • Work with cloud platforms including Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS (training provided)

  • Use ticketing and IT management tools to track and resolve incidents efficiently

  • Collaborate with teammates and drive issues to completion - no ticket left behind

Requirements

Do you have experience in macOS?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, 1-2 years of IT or helpdesk support experience preferred - we want someone who has seen a real environment before

  • High school diploma required; Associate's degree or tech certifications (A+, CCNA) are a strong plus

  • Solid grasp of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and basic networking

  • Ability to troubleshoot under pressure and communicate clearly at all levels

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and not someone who needs to be chased

  • Reliable car for occasional client site visits in Orange and LA County

  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and access tight spaces (yes, behind the desk counts)

WHAT MAKES YOU STAND OUT

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration or Azure

  • Familiarity with MDM or mobile device management

  • You've worked with a ticketing or PSA system before

  • You have a genuine curiosity about how technology works - not just how to fix it
