This role will play a key part in migrating Azure applications from the Berry tenant to the new tenant. Due to differences in tenant IDs, application IDs, and user configurations, there is no standardized Microsoft migration path, making this a highly hands-on and technically complex effort.
The primary objective is to:
- Rebuild and migrate Azure applications into the environment
- Replicate existing permissions and configurations
- Partner with the security team to ensure smooth cutover and troubleshoot issues during transition
This is a high-impact, execution-focused role where the consultant will act as an extension of the internal Cloud team, providing "smart hands" and technical expertise-not project management leadership. Strong internal support will be provided for escalations and complex challenges.
There is also a strong possibility of extension and involvement in additional integration projects., The IT Technical Specialist II - Cloud Platform is responsible for the administration, configuration, and support of cloud-based platforms and services. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable cloud solutions., * Translate business requirements into technical cloud solutions
- Identify, assess, and communicate risks across cloud platforms
- Support Azure and third-party cloud application integrations
- Assist in multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
- Support PaaS solutions, virtualization, and software-defined infrastructure
- Manage and maintain secure cloud identity solutions (Azure AD, MFA, RBAC, etc.)
- Provide advanced troubleshooting across hybrid (on-prem + cloud) environments
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Improve efficiency through automation, scripting, and tooling enhancements
- Collaborate across teams to deliver reliable and scalable cloud services, * Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access, RBAC, MFA, ADFS
- Azure administration tools (Azure CLI, PowerShell, ARM templates)
- Cloud security best practices (encryption, least privilege, PIM, auditing)
- Azure infrastructure (VMs, VNet, VPN, ExpressRoute, Azure Firewall, WAN)
- Containers & data services (Kubernetes, Docker, Databricks, Event Hubs)
- Enterprise integrations (SAP, Workday, Concur, DocuSign, etc.)
- Backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Monitoring, billing, and FinOps practices
- Data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related experience
- 3-5 years of experience in IT and cloud engineering roles
- Hands-on experience with Azure (required); exposure to AWS/GCP is a plus
- Experience with automation tools (Terraform, Puppet, Jenkins, Azure DSC, JSON)
- Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies
- Experience with ITIL practices and change management
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, * Fast learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies
