Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team in California on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with hands-on experience in Java, Python, and Spring Boot-based application development. This role involves designing and developing APIs or microservices, working with modern web technologies, and contributing to an Agile/Scrum development environment., * Develop and maintain software applications using Java, Python, and Spring Boot.
- Design and implement APIs or microservices to support business needs.
- Work with modern web technologies such as React and Angular.
- Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum development environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Utilize databases like MongoDB or similar technologies for data management.
- Participate in the software development lifecycle, including testing and debugging., * Purchase any product, service, or gift cards from us or for us as part of an application, interview, or selection process.
- Provide sensitive financial information such as credit card numbers or banking information. Successfully placed or hired candidates would only be asked for banking details after accepting an offer from us during our official onboarding processes as part of payroll setup.
Requirements
- 2+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, and Spring Boot-based application development.
- Experience with modern web technologies such as React and Angular.
- Knowledge of designing and developing APIs or microservices.
- Working knowledge of databases like MongoDB or similar technologies.
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle practices, including testing and debugging., * Experience with cloud environments such as Google Cloud, Azure, OpenShift, or Kubernetes-based platforms.
- Exposure to Kafka or event-driven architectures.
- Experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, or API automation tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of version control tools such as Git.
- Knowledge or exposure to emerging technologies such as GenAI tools (e.g., Copilot).
Benefits & conditions
Pay Range: $40.00 - $43.00 The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
