Job description
Desktop, which includes the Service Center (IVR) and MS Dynamics teams. Job Overview: Responsible for guiding multiple scrum teams through the use of Agile / Scrum practices and values for the purpose of delivering quality software and solutions to the organization. This role is responsible for conducting Scrum of Scrum or SAFe ART processes and ceremonies when in a team-of-teams model. You must build trusted relationships with the team and with their stakeholders (Product Managers, Solutions Managers, etc.) to ensure the needs of all team members are being met. Oversee process excellence, best practices, and adherence across multiple trains and teams in the domain. Responsibilities:
- JIRA, & Lucid Expert
- Facilitates the team in defining Working Agreements, Definition of Ready, Definition of Done and then ensures those agreements are upheld
- Conducts team-of-team ceremonies, including Program Increment (PI) Planning events for release trains
- Helps identify and remove impediments, escalates impediments to the product and solutions manager, recommends ways to resolve impediments, and influences leadership to take action on these recommendations
- Helps team inspect and adapt process through retrospectives, data / metrics tracking and creating a safe, trusting environment with space to grow
- Coaches Agile Release Train team-of-teams to higher levels of performance
- Assists with internal and external communication and improving transparency by creating visible information radiators (burn-downs, velocity chart, etc.), dashboards and demos
- Supports Product Manager and/or Program Manager with communication materials for senior leadership that are clear, concise and visually appealing
- Provides metric reports to assist in product roadmap planning
- Have ownership of delivering against Deals/Program milestones.
Requirements
Large FS client needs an experienced RTE with exceptional communication and outgoing personality:
- They like people with good energy and enthusiasm - make sure you display your ability to work cross-functionally with both technology and business partners
- Must be really strong at building interpersonal relationships, * 10+ years of professional experience leading Agile software engineering teams
- Hands-on experience as a Release Train Engineer, with responsibilities including PI Planning, ART Readiness, Dependency Coordination, and Quarterly Reviews
- Expertise in Lucidchart and Jira/JQL
- Knowledge of SDLC - should be able to understand technical dialogue and relay it back to the business
- Experience with Risk, Dependency, and Release Management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a non-negotiable
