Job description

We are seeking a hands-on Machinery Support Technician to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and service of packaging, palletizing, and conveying equipment at customer facilities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with industrial machinery, traveling to customer sites, and solving mechanical and technical challenges in fast-paced manufacturing environments., * Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain packaging, palletizing, and conveying equipment.

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, layouts, electrical diagrams, and pneumatic diagrams.
  • Align, level, calibrate, and validate equipment to ensure proper operation and performance.
  • Assist with equipment testing, commissioning, and functional validation.
  • Use power tools, assembly fixtures, and specialized equipment to complete installations and repairs.
  • Fabricate or modify basic mechanical components as needed.
  • Disassemble, package, and prepare equipment for shipment.
  • Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials and equipment.
  • Communicate with customers to coordinate installation, maintenance, and service activities.
  • Provide project updates regarding progress, milestones, and potential issues.
  • Participate in project meetings and collaborate with engineering, operations, and customer teams.
  • Follow all safety procedures, regulations, and site-specific requirements.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and technical support activities at customer locations.
  • Complete documentation and reports related to service activities and project work.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Troubleshooting electrical systems?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * High school diploma or GED.

  • Experience with installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting of industrial machinery, packaging equipment, or related systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical diagrams.
  • Ability to read and understand 2D AutoCAD layouts and drawings.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in manufacturing, packaging, automation, food processing, or material handling environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience working with ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with PLCs, robotics, or automated equipment.
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish or Portuguese are a plus.
