Application Engineer - ALM (Application Lifecycle Management)

• Partner with stakeholders to implement application enhancements, upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
• Configure and maintain workflows, approvals, change management processes, and application settings to support business requirements.
• Monitor application health, performance, and reliability using established operational practices.
• Develop and maintain custom integrations and automation solutions using Java and Python.
• Create dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support engineering, operational, and leadership teams.
• Update project templates, configurations, workflows, and metadata within ALM platforms.
• Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and process improvements.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and serve as an escalation point for application-related issues.

This role will collaborate closely with engineering and IT teams to deliver application improvements, integrations, reporting solutions, and ongoing platform support. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical background, experience working with enterprise applications, and a passion for solving complex operational challenges in a fast-paced environment., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Professional experience developing or supporting enterprise applications.
• Strong programming experience with: Java, JavaScript, Python, Velocity
• Experience configuring and supporting Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools.
• Knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases, including platforms such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt in a dynamic environment., * Experience with Polarion or similar ALM platforms.
• Experience working in regulated industries such as automotive, aerospace, medical devices, financial services, or other compliance-driven environments.
• Experience supporting enterprise software integrations and reporting solutions.
