Experienced Software Engineer, Developer

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications that meet industry, customer, safety, and regulation standards.
• Review, analyze, and translate customer requirements into initial design of software products.
• Develop, maintain, enhance, and optimize software products and functionalities for systems integrations.
• Develop, document, and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software products.
• Participate in the agile software development lifecycle including planning, reviews, and supporting customer meetings.
• Analyze, characterize, debug and resolve performance related issues to ensure reliability and efficiency of software products.
• Handle user inquiries, troubleshoot technical issues, and analyze user feedback.
• Implement current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and changes in regulations relevant to software development.
• Develop, establish, monitor, and improve software processes, tools, and key performance metrics that align with organization goals and industry benchmarks.
• Execute and document software research and development projects.
• Advise on software domains, system-specific issues, processes and regulations.
• Perform software project management activities and software supplier management functions.
• Track and evaluate software team and supplier performance to ensure product and process compliance to project plans and industry standards.
• Perform cost benefit analysis to help guide technical solutions

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:

This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI U.S. Security Clearance with an adjudicated polygraph. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

• Bachelor's degree
• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance with adjudicated polygraph
• 2+ years' experience in foundation Computer Science knowledge
• 2+ years of experience in Python
• 2+ years of experience with JavaScript and/or Typescript including frameworks like React, * Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 5+ years of related work experience OR Bachelor's Degree and 9+ years of directly related work experience OR 13+ years of related, relevant experience
• Strong understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns
• Experience with relational databases
• Experience with software development using agile principles and a structured development process
• Experience in Infrastructure Tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD Pipelines)
• Experience in building out regression test suites
• Experience with systems engineering or software development on space-based or ground-based systems, This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required., This position requires an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) U.S. Security Clearance with an adjudicated Counterintelligence or Full Scope Polygraph (U.S. Citizenship Required).
