Job description

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with strong expertise in Wealth Management and Financial Services to join our team in Hamilton, NJ. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing and supporting applications within investment management, portfolio management, asset management, wealth advisory, or private banking environments., * Design, develop, test, and deploy Python-based applications supporting Wealth Management business functions.

  • Build and maintain scalable APIs and backend services.

  • Develop data integration solutions between internal and external financial systems.

  • Work closely with business analysts, portfolio managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements.

  • Optimize application performance and ensure system reliability.

  • Participate in code reviews and maintain development best practices.

  • Support production applications and troubleshoot complex issues.

Requirements

The candidate should possess strong Python development skills, experience working with financial data, and the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, portfolio managers, and technology teams to deliver scalable solutions., Technical Skills

  • Strong experience in Python development (5+ years preferred)

  • Expertise in Python frameworks and libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, FastAPI, Flask, or Django

  • Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture

  • Strong SQL skills with experience in Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar databases

  • Experience with data processing, ETL development, and financial data integration

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies

  • Experience with Linux/Unix environments

Wealth Management Domain Experience

  • Strong understanding of Wealth Management and Investment Management business processes

  • Experience working with:

  • Portfolio Management

  • Investment Advisory Platforms

  • Asset Management Systems

  • Private Banking Solutions

  • Financial Planning Applications

  • Client Reporting Platforms

  • Knowledge of financial instruments including:

  • Equities
