Job description
We are hiring a Managed IT Sales Representative to help generate new managed services customers. This person will be responsible for prospecting, setting appointments, following up with leads, building relationships with local businesses, and helping close new monthly recurring managed IT agreements.
This position can be remote, but the salesperson must meet in person at our New Ulm office at least once per week to review activity, pipeline, numbers, goals, and progress.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and contact small to medium-sized businesses that may need managed IT services
- Make outbound phone calls, send emails, use LinkedIn, and follow up with leads
- Schedule discovery meetings with qualified business prospects
- Help explain Tech Unlimited's managed services offering in a clear and professional way
- Track all sales activity, follow-ups, notes, and opportunities
- Build and manage a pipeline of potential managed services customers
- Attend weekly in-office sales meetings to review numbers, goals, activity, and progress
- Work with ownership to improve scripts, offers, follow-up processes, and sales strategy
- Represent Tech Unlimited professionally in the local business community
- Focus on bringing in new recurring revenue managed services clients
What We Sell
Our main focus is managed IT services for businesses. This can include:
- Microsoft 365 support
- Antivirus and cybersecurity protection
- Email filtering
- Backups
- Remote support
- Computer and network support
- Patch management
- Security awareness training
- General IT help desk support
- Technology planning and consulting, The salesperson will be expected to report on:
- Number of outbound calls
- Number of emails or LinkedIn messages sent
- Number of follow-ups completed
- Number of qualified appointments set
- Number of proposals sent
- Number of new managed services customers closed
- Monthly recurring revenue added

Requirements
Do you have experience in Software sales?, We are looking for a motivated sales professional to help us grow our managed services customer base. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building relationships, finding new opportunities, talking with business owners, and helping companies solve technology problems before they become expensive headaches., The right person for this role is confident, organized, self-motivated, and comfortable talking with business owners and decision makers. We are looking for someone who can create opportunities, follow up consistently, and keep a clear pipeline.
You do not need to be a technician, but you do need to be comfortable learning how managed IT services help businesses., * Previous sales, business development, account executive, or B2B experience preferred
- Experience selling technology, telecom, software, copier, payroll, insurance, or business services is a plus
- Comfortable making outbound calls and following up consistently
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently while staying accountable to weekly goals
- Organized and comfortable tracking activity in a CRM or sales tracking system
- Professional, trustworthy, and able to represent the company well
- Willing to meet in person once per week in New Ulm, MN

- Base pay: $16 to $20 per hour, depending on experience
- Commission: 30% on new managed services sales
