As a Software Engineer III, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions that meet business and technical requirements. This position demands expertise in coding, testing, and debugging across multiple platforms and languages, with a focus on continuous integration and delivery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, implement secure and efficient code, and ensure high availability and performance. Your contributions will support the advancement of innovative technologies and the delivery of reliable applications aligned with organizational goals. Immigration Sponsorship is NOT available for this role About the team: The Supply Chain - Transportation Management Platform team focuses on optimizing the physical movement of goods across Walmart's global markets. The team aims to reduce freight costs through automation, enhance efficiency and standardization, and deliver advanced optimization capabilities. By enabling logistics as a service, the team supports monetization of the transportation network. Members collaborate to design and develop scalable, high-quality software solutions using iterative development and continuous integration practices. The team values technical expertise in platform design, API development, and generative artificial intelligence to drive innovation and operational excellence.
Requirements

- Agile/Scrum methodology experience
- Passion for continuous learning and staying current with technology trends, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 4+ years of professional software development experience
- 2+ years of full-stack development experience
- Frontend: Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML5, CSS3
- Backend: Strong experience with Java (Spring Boot), Node.js, or Python
- Databases: Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
- APIs: Experience designing and consuming RESTful services
- Cloud: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP acceptable)
- Version Control: Proficient with Git and collaborative development workflows
