Job description
- Develop C++ software running in Linux (Red Hat 8+) environments, supporting both new application development and enhancement of existing capabilities.
- Build, integrate, and deploy containerized applications using Docker and/or Kubernetes, delivering software solutions to multiple customer environments.
- Create and maintain DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines, supporting rapid iteration, deployment, and evolving mission requirements.
- Participate in the development of leading-edge technologies where requirements evolve quickly.
- Work onsite in McKinney, TX., + Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
- Clearance Information: This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Requirements
- Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or STEM degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- Embedded software development experience with C++
- Experience developing software in a Linux environment, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 8 or newer)
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure such as Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, or similar.
- Familiarity with Agile lifecycle process including Scrum, Continuous Integration, and Test-Driven Development Methodologies
Benefits & conditions
The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
