Job description
Are you an experienced software developer or SRE looking to step into an architect role? Come join one of Michigan's major utility providers as a Cloud Architect owning testing, automation, and enhancements as a part of a critical IT team supporting customer-facing applications. If you enjoy automation and ensuring critical apps function properly, keep reading and apply!, * Conduct stress and load tests on high-traffic applications hosted in Azure, using JMeter and jmax files, Azure Load Test/ App Testing, and/or Playwright.
- Manage GitHub CI/CD pipelines, execute GitHub actions to modify pipelines, ensure code is deployed effectively.
- Write automations scripts to simulate high-traffic and critical situations to test application performance, reliability, and availability.
- Review application performance, detail metrics, and identify areas and methods of improvement.
- Grow the development team's capabilities in order to be more self-sufficient in an enterprise Agile environment.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), DevOps Engineer, or Full Stack software development role supporting high-traffic applications.
- Hands-on experience conducting load tests (jMeter, jmax), managing, and deploying applications utilizing GitHub CI/CD pipelines.
- Significant experience developing and deploying IaC, preferrably using Terraform.
- Significant hands-on experience in software development, ideally using JavaScript-based languages/ libraries, Java, .NET, or similar.
