Network Administrator

This position will work closely with the Network Engineer to ensure the stable operations of the computer networks. Will also assist with helpdesk support, documentation and/or special projects as assigned., * Assist in network implementation and design.

• Provide network support with a variety of operating systems.
• Install and configure computer network equipment.
• Maintain network connectivity of all computer workstations.
• Provide network support to users.
• Maintain servers and associated hardware, applications, services and settings.
• Develop and monitor policies for the use of network resources.
• Implement and manage security improvement and system upgrades.
• Monitor network to ensure optimal performance.
• Create and maintain network users/permissions.
• Test release of products to minimize user impact and ensure compatibility.
• Create technical support documentation for systems and applications.
• Attend required meetings and training.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain adherence to Company policies, safety/ergonomic standards and good housekeeping practices.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.

Do you have experience in Windows?, * Previous related work experience.

• Communications Skills are crucial - both in communicating with the team, with users, and vendors
• Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems
• Active Directory/Entra ID experience
• Enterprise Backup systems experience - (Synology, Datto, etc.)
• Basic Hardware experience - troubleshooting PCs, Servers, mobile devices
• Knowledge of Cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and remediation
• Network Infrastructure knowledge and experience - CCNA, JNCA, Network+ certifications or equivalent experience or education.

• Firewalls and gateway management

-VPN configuration and management

-Exchange/Mail Server experience

-Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching experience

-WiFi systems (Unifi systems experience is a bonus)

-Surveillance systems (Cameras and Alarms)

-VoIP systems

• Prior experience with Help Desi - Jira, Freshworks, etc
• Ability to produce high-quality, timely, and accurate reports and documentation in Word
• Ability to organize time effectively
• Project planning, management, and tracking skills
• Capable of explaining technical matters with non-technical users
• Good with working with teams or independently
