Job description

Onyx pairs subject matter and functional experts with developers to provide high quality, tailored solutions. In support of our various efforts, we have developed the Onyx Data Management Toolkit, a combination of Agile Development principles, COTS Integration, and custom software, to deliver flexible, cost-effective solutions to a variety of Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and Law Enforcement agencies., The Software Developer modernizes TRDM's legacy SOA web services into containerized, cloud-native services. Works in an Agile/SAFe environment. Off-site permitted for unclassified work., * Refactor legacy Java SOA web services into containerized cloud-native applications

  • Develop new REST APIs to replace legacy SOAP/WSDL endpoints where appropriate
  • Implement and test interface changes
  • Address Fortify SAST findings
  • Maintain code in Subversion / Git repositories
  • Document interfaces per IDD and IRDD requirements

Requirements

  • Active SECRET clearance
  • US Citizen
  • Bachelor's degree
  • DoD 8570 IAT-II
  • 5+ years software development, 3+ years Java enterprise
  • Web services experience (REST, SOAP, WSDL, XML), * AWS Developer
  • Docker/Kubernetes
  • Agile/SAFe
  • Prior DoD IT or USTRANSCOM experience
