Software Engineer II at LVT, you will play a critical role as part of a team of talented software engineers working on
Self-Service Administration experiences
to empower our customers to quickly and easily use our prod ^uct. You will be responsible for writing high-quality code, contributing to software design discussions, and collaborating closely with your team to deliver impactful features, * Deliver high quality software: You love to ship. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high quality software that creates value for customers and meets product and engineering requirements. You will take ownership to ship your code into production and collaborate with QA, DevOps, SecOps and other teams to ensure a timely and reliable release of your software. Requirements gathering and documentation: When requirements are missing you will be proactive to find them out and document them.
- Requirements & Documentation: You are proactive about clarity. When feature requirements or edge cases are unclear, you will actively work with product managers and senior engineers to clarify and document them.
- Reliability and performance: To ensure your software is reliable and performant, you will write automated tests (unit/integration), log metrics, and utilize dashboards and alerts to monitor your features in production.
- Teamwork & Collaboration: You will actively participate in code reviews, share knowledge with your peers, and embrace modern software engineering methodologies and technologies. You will collaborate across teams to achieve shared quality and product goals.
- Continuous Improvement: You will stay on the lookout for ways to streamline workflows, improve code quality, and help optimize processes within your team.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional full-stack or front-end development experience.
- Solid hands-on experience working with TypeScript, React, Next.js, and NestJS.
- Familiarity with or strong enthusiasm for working with Docker, containerization, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a comfort level tackling technical challenges and working with existing codebases.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills, with an eagerness to learn from senior peers.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Experience with agile software development methodologies and familiarity with related tools and processes.
