Job description

DHL Supply Chain has an immediate need for a Manhattan WMi Senior Application Support Engineer. The applicant must have experience with Manhattan WMi, iseries/AS400, RPG, CLP. This is a work from home/hybrid position working 5 days per week with core hours between 8AM and 5PM. This position participates in a structured on-call rotation to support 24x7 operations. On-call duties are shared across the team and may require coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities during on-call include responding to high-priority production incidents, coordinating resolution efforts, and ensuring service restoration within defined SLAs. As part of an AI-focused team, this role is also expected to actively contribute to the continuous improvement of support processes through automation, knowledge optimization, and the adoption of innovative tools and practices., The Senior Application Support Engineer is responsible for the implementation, support, administration, and maintenance of software applications, primarily focused on Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM) and other SaaS-based logistics solutions. This role ensures system reliability, performance, and integration across multiple platforms, including Centiro and peripheral systems. The engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams, leads disaster recovery exercises, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include Tier 2 support, system configuration, performance diagnostics, and coordination of release management activities through CAB meetings.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 2 support for Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM) modules including Receiving, Picking, Packing, Shipping, and Labor Management

Support Centiro SaaS-based transportation and carrier management system

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API integrations and microservices

Perform root cause analysis using logs and SQL diagnostics

Coordinate with Tier 1 and Tier 3 teams for incident resolution and escalation

Administer and configure MAWM and peripheral systems (Windows/Linux servers, SaaS tools)

Participate in disaster recovery exercises and release management via CAB meetings

Develop documentation and training materials for supported applications

Mentor junior staff and collaborate with team leads

Attend status meetings and communicate progress on support activities

Requirements

Do you have experience in Warehouse management system?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, Bachelors Degree in a relevant field or 5+ years of IT experience, required

Experience supporting MAWM or similar WMS platforms, required

Proficiency in SQL, incident management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow), and cloud-native architecture, required

Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, OAuth, and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash), preferred

Relevant certifications (ITIL, Oracle, IBM, Microsoft), preferred
