The ERP & Business Systems Analyst plays a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions by analyzing, designing, and optimizing enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and related business applications. This position is responsible for ensuring that ERP systems effectively support business processes, improve operational efficiency, and enable data-driven decision-making across departments. The analyst collaborates closely with stakeholders from various business units to gather requirements, identify system enhancements, and troubleshoot issues to maintain seamless system performance. Additionally, the role involves continuous evaluation of emerging technologies and best practices to recommend improvements that align with organizational goals. Ultimately, the ERP & Business Systems Analyst ensures that the ERP infrastructure is robust, scalable, and aligned with the evolving needs of the business to drive overall success., * Gather and analyze business requirements to design and implement ERP system solutions that meet organizational needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, finance, operations, and management to optimize business processes through ERP enhancements.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution to ensure ERP applications operate efficiently and reliably.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including process flows, system configurations, and user manuals.
- Provide training and support to end-users to maximize system adoption and effectiveness.
- Monitor ERP system performance and coordinate with vendors or internal teams for upgrades, patches, and maintenance.
- Evaluate new ERP features and third-party integrations to recommend improvements that enhance business capabilities.
Requirements
Do you have experience in System requirements definition?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of business processes in areas such as finance, supply chain, manufacturing, or human resources.
- Proven experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and system analysis.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification in ERP systems (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate, Oracle Certified Professional).
- Experience with data analytics tools and reporting platforms to support business intelligence initiatives.
- Knowledge of programming or scripting languages relevant to ERP customization (e.g., SQL, ABAP, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
- Experience working in a large-scale enterprise environment with complex system integrations., The ERP & Business Systems Analyst utilizes analytical skills daily to dissect complex business processes and translate them into effective ERP system configurations.
