Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Network Architect to lead the design, strategy, and evolution of our enterprise network infrastructure. This is a senior-level role for a seasoned professional who brings deep technical expertise, a strategic mindset, and a passion for staying ahead of the technology curve. You will serve as the authoritative voice on all network architecture decisions and play a critical role in shaping the long-term direction of our infrastructure., * Architect, design, and oversee the implementation of complex enterprise-grade network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, data center, security, and cloud networking environments
- Lead the full transition and adoption of IPv6, including dual-stack implementations, address planning, routing strategy, and security policy alignment
- Define and enforce network architecture standards, design patterns, and governance frameworks across the organization
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, tools, and platforms aligned with current industry best practices
- Partner with security, cloud, and systems teams to ensure integrated, resilient, and secure network solutions
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to network engineers and infrastructure teams
- Lead capacity planning, performance modeling, and network optimization initiatives
- Conduct architecture reviews and provide expert-level guidance on escalated network issues
- Develop and maintain architecture documentation, roadmaps, and technology lifecycle plans
- Drive automation and infrastructure-as-code initiatives to modernize network operations
- Serve as a subject matter expert in vendor evaluations, RFPs, and contract negotiations
Requirements
Do you have experience in Zero Trust security?, * 10+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering and architecture roles
- Expert-level knowledge of networking protocols and technologies including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VXLAN, EVPN, QoS, and multicast
- Expert-level IPv6 proficiency, including design, deployment, dual-stack migration, and security considerations
- Deep experience with data center networking (spine-leaf architectures, SDN, network virtualization)
- Strong understanding of network security principles including zero-trust architecture, micro-segmentation, firewall policy, and DDoS mitigation
- Demonstrated ability to stay current with emerging technology trends and translate them into actionable architectural decisions
- Experience with SD-WAN platforms and next-generation WAN design
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, * Active certifications such as CCIE (R&S, Data Center, or SP), JNCIE, or equivalent expert-level credentials
- Experience with intent-based networking platforms (Cisco DNA Center, Juniper Apstra, etc.)
- Familiarity with SASE, SSE, and cloud-delivered security frameworks
- Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, government)
- Prior experience leading architecture teams or serving in a principal/staff engineer capacity, * Network architecture: 10 years (Required)
