· Lead technical discussions with customers and internal stakeholders to understand workload needs and propose optimal storage designs.
· Manage 3PAR/Alletra arrays including CPGs, virtual volumes, VLUNs, host sets, and port configurations.
· Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) for complex storage, SAN, and performance issues.
· Plan and execute storage migrations using Peer Motion, Online Import, and host-based migration tools with minimal downtime.
· Administer and troubleshoot SAN fabrics (Brocade/Cisco) including zoning, ISLs, firmware upgrades, and fabric resiliency.
· Optimize storage performance and efficiency through RAID selection, tiering, chunklet layout, and adaptive optimization.
· Implement and manage replication and DR solutions such as Remote Copy, Peer Persistence, and metro cluster configurations.
· Integrate storage with virtualization and OS platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Linux, Windows) and resolve multipathing issues.
· Manage firmware, OS, and controller upgrades ensuring non-disruptive operations and rollback readiness.
