Job description

Ampcus Inc. is a certified global provider of a broad range of Technology and Business consulting services. We are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented Team. Job Title: NextJS Developer Job Location: Atlanta, GA

We are seeking an elite, production-ready Next.js Tech Lead / Architect to immediately step in and rescue a high-priority web implementation project. We already have a complete, capable team of UI React Developers and AEM Developers. We do not need someone to design UI components or create layout styles.

The successful resource must act as the "glue", architecting the project scaffolding, mapping AEM GraphQL APIs, establishing advanced caching strategies, and launching our application into production infrastructure in record time. Zero ramp-up time is required. Core Responsibilities

  • Architectural Leadership: Own the overall Next.js project structure (App Router architecture), configuring rendering pathways (SSR, and SSG) for peak performance.
  • Production Deployment: Configure, secure, and optimize the hosting infrastructure and build pipelines (CI/CD) to ensure immediate deployment viability.
  • Team Enablement: Abstract complex server-side logic so the existing React developers can safely drop their standard functional UI components into the project without blocking backend flows.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on architectural experience specifically with Next.js App Router (not just standard React or older Pages Router systems).
  • Deep expertise in caching methodologies, cross-origin resource sharing (CORS), and setting up automatic cache validation hooks.
  • Prior experience acting as a lead engineer on enterprise-scale website launches with a strict focus on maximizing Lighthouse performance scores.

Preferred:

  • Proven, verifiable experience integrating Next.js with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as a Cloud Service using a Headless/GraphQL delivery model.
