Job description

The System and Network Technician is part of a team responsible for deploying and managing the organization's enterprise-wide computing and communications environment. The position coordinates, installs, sets up, and supports the organization's computing and communication technologies. The primary role is managing end-user devices and providing 1st-level Helpdesk support.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Software installation?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * AA in Information Technology or similar discipline or equivalent experience.

  • BS in Information management of a similar discipline is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Microsoft MTA or higher. CompTIA A+
  • Current MD Driver's License
  • Microsoft MCSA, Citrix Certified Associate (CCA) is preferred
  • Technical certification is preferred.

Experience:

  • One to two years of hands-on experience with multiple computing platforms, including client/server technologies, installing and supporting current networking and operating systems, networking and communication protocols, management tools and support utilities, and deploying and supporting productivity (utility) software.
  • Knowledge of safe back care and lifting techniques.
