ob Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Testing Lead with a strong emphasis on Playwright knowledge. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the testing efforts of our software applications, ensuring high-quality deliverables through effective testing strategies and methodologies. This role requires a deep understanding of software testing principles, along with the ability to mentor and guide a team of testers in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Lead the software testing process, including test planning, test case design, execution, and reporting.
- Utilize Playwright to develop and maintain automated test scripts for web applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and design effective test strategies.
- Mentor and train team members on best practices in software testing and automation.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution.
- Conduct regular reviews of test cases and test results to ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing input on testing progress and quality metrics.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in software testing and automation.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Playwright for automated testing.
- Proficient in test case design and execution.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Experience with defect tracking tools and test management software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with other testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Knowledge of performance testing and security testing.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.
