Job description

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to support a large-scale platform modernization initiative within the airline and travel technology domain. This role is focused on execution ownership, backlog management, stakeholder alignment, and delivery coordination as an existing crew logistics platform is migrated to a modern technology stack.

The Product Owner will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, product leadership, engineering teams, and program management to ensure successful execution of the migration roadmap. This is a hands-on role requiring strong Agile delivery experience, platform migration expertise, and the ability to translate business requirements into actionable development priorities.

The ideal candidate has experience working on enterprise platforms, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving execution in complex environments where operational continuity is critical.

Responsibilitie

  • sOwn and manage the product backlog for platform migration initiatives
  • .Partner with Product Managers and business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into executable workstreams
  • .Define, prioritize, and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint deliverables
  • .Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and release planning activities
  • .Collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, QA, and business teams to ensure successful delivery
  • .Drive execution planning and coordinate dependencies across multiple development teams
  • .Facilitate decision-making and remove blockers impacting delivery timelines
  • .Monitor progress against milestones and communicate status, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders
  • .Support migration activities from legacy platforms to modern systems while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
  • .Work with airline operations and business teams to understand crew logistics workflows and operational requirements
  • .Validate delivered functionality and ensure alignment with business goals and user expectations
  • .Champion Agile best practices and continuous improvement across the product delivery lifecycle

Requirements

  • ls5+ years of Product Owner experience supporting enterprise software platform
  • s.Strong experience with Agile, Scrum, Sprint Planning, Backlog Management, and User Story Developmen
  • t.Experience leading platform migration, modernization, or transformation initiative
  • s.Ability to work closely with engineering teams, architects, QA teams, and business stakeholder
  • s.Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and product delivery framework
  • s.Experience managing execution across multiple workstreams and cross-functional team
  • s.Knowledge of travel technology, airline operations, crew management, workforce logistics, scheduling, or transportation platforms is highly preferre
  • d.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skill
  • s.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilitie
  • s.Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile delivery tool
  • s.Ability to prioritize competing requirements in a fast-paced environmen
  • t.Experience supporting enterprise-scale digital transformation programs is preferre

Benefits & conditions

WC.Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The salary for this position ranges from $130,000 in our lowest geographic market up to $140,000 in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
