Fisch Solutions, one of the Hudson Valley's leading Managed Service Providers (MSPs), is seeking a Help Desk/Hybrid Technician (Entry Level) to join our growing team. This position focuses on hardware deployment, network support, and basic Windows Server administration at a fixed client site in Orange County, NY.
You'll be hands-on with both users and technology-installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining computers, printers, and network systems in a professional environment.
What You'll Do
- Provide on-site and remote support for users on desktop hardware, software, and network issues.
- Deploy and configure new computers, peripherals, and printers.
- Support and maintain network equipment including SonicWall, Meraki, WatchGuard, and Fortinet firewalls.
- Perform basic Windows Server administration including Active Directory user management and Group Policytroubleshooting.
- Assist in monitoring and resolving help desk tickets while maintaining documentation.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with clients and team members to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain and improve system performance, uptime, and end-user satisfaction.
You're Great At
- Desktop support and deployment (Windows and Mac).
- Managing Microsoft 365 and Office applications.
- Troubleshooting hardware and connectivity issues.
- Following through on tickets and seeing problems to completion.
- Providing professional, customer-focused support.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in System deployment?, * Experience with firewalls, routers, and managed switches.
- Prior experience with SonicWall, Meraki, WatchGuard, Ubiquiti, and Fortinet devices.
- Familiarity with Windows Server (Especially Active Directory User Management, Group Policy, & DNS)
- Basic understanding of network topologies, Wi-Fi, and VPN technologies.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of IT support experience (help desk, desktop support, or field technician).
- Experience deploying and troubleshooting computers and peripherals.
- Working knowledge of networks and basic server environments.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to work onsite daily.
