Job description

Insight Global is looking to add an Enterprise Data Architect to their client's IT organization. This person will be responsible for driving enterprise data strategy, modernizing legacy systems, and eventually supporting ERP transformation efforts. They will focus on building scalable data architecture, integrating systems, and improving business processes through automation using Microsoft technologies. They'll partner closely with business stakeholders to redesign workflows, implement data governance, and deliver solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, and related tools. They will play a key role in preparing the organization for ERP consolidation and future AI capabilities.

Requirements

  • 5-10+ years in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise systems

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric

  • Understanding of the below: o Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) o Microsoft Graph o Microsoft Purview

  • Experience integrating or modernizing legacy systems

  • Experience with Power BI, SQL and Python for data modeling, ETL/ELT and architecture design o Data modeling, ETL/ELT, and architecture design

  • Experience with process automation and workflow design

  • Ability to work directly with non-technical stakeholders and redesign business processes

  • Strong communication skills with a balance of strategy + hands-on execution

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

  • Experience with ERP migrations or consolidations
  • Exposure to AI/ML use cases in business environments
  • Microsoft certifications (Fabric, Power Platform, Azure)
  • Experience with Microsoft Graph APIs
  • SAP, Epicor, or similar ERP experience
