Sr OutSystems Lead Developer

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of large-scale enterprise applications using OutSystems 11 (OS11), ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and high-performing.
• Provide technical leadership across the full software development lifecycle, driving architecture decisions, development standards, and delivery best practices.
• Mentor, supervise, and allocate work for a small team of developers, offering hands-on guidance, coaching, and support throughout project execution.
• Design applications using OutSystems architecture best practices, including multi-layered architecture, modularization, reusable components, dependency management, and lifecycle strategy.
• Evaluate existing applications for technical debt, recommend remediation strategies, and conduct code reviews to improve maintainability, quality, and long-term system health.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions while troubleshooting and optimizing applications for reliability and performance.

• 5+ years of hands-on OutSystems development experience, including 2+ years working specifically with OutSystems 11 (OS11).
• Proven experience building and delivering large, complex, enterprise-level applications with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and security.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a small development team, including task assignment, technical oversight, and coaching.
• Strong expertise in OutSystems architecture principles, including multi-layered architecture, modularization, reusable components, dependency management, and ALM strategy.
• Experience identifying and addressing technical debt, conducting code reviews, and enforcing development standards and architectural best practices.
• Proficiency with SQL, REST/SOAP integrations, data modeling, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and preferably cloud environments such as AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and OutSystems certifications.
