Job description
GNSS Data Processing & Analysis
- Process raw Multi-GNSS observations using precise point positioning (PPP), Post-Processed Kinematic (PPK), reduced dynamic, differential, undifferenced, and relative positioning techniques
- Perform static, kinematic, and reduced dynamic Multi-GNSS data processing for ground-based, spaceborne, and airborne platform precise positioning and clock solutions including GNSS space vehicles, ground stations, and LEO geodetic satellites
- Perform Multi-GNSS data processing in support of Earth Orientation Parameter (EOP) and reference frame solutions
- Application and improvement of corrections for tropospheric delay, ionospheric delay, multipath, and other systematic error sources
- Conduct integer ambiguity resolution to achieve centimeter-level positioning accuracy
Quality Assessment & Validation
- Assess Multi-GNSS solution quality using statistical metrics, residual analysis, and independent validation datasets
- Identify and mitigate systematic errors, outliers, and data gaps in Multi-GNSS observations
- Compare Multi-GNSS-derived positions against ground truth and independent reference datasets
- Document data quality issues and develop strategies for improvement
Integration & Geolocation
- Integrate GNSS and IMU/INS data for precise platform positioning and attitude determination
- Support geolocation of remote sensing data including laser altimeter measurements
Software & Tool Development
- Develop, maintain, and improve GNSS data processing scripts and workflows using PERL, Fortran, C, Python, and similar languages
- Work with Multi-GNSS processing software such as GIPSY-OASIS, BERNESE, and GEODYN
- Automate data processing pipelines to handle large volumes of Multi-GNSS observations efficiently
- Contribute to the development of data processing documentation and standard operating procedures
Collaboration & Communication
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including scientists, engineers, and project managers
- Present technical results and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Contribute to technical reports, peer-reviewed publications, and conference presentations
- Participate in field campaigns and provide on-site GNSS data collection support as needed
Requirements
