Job description

We're seeking an Application Support Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for customers needing assistance with our business applications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who enjoys troubleshooting, training users, and delivering great customer service., * Serve as the initial point of contact for customer support via phone and remote tools

  • Provide friendly, professional assistance to end-users
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate technical issues as needed
  • Log and track all support incidents through resolution in Freshdesk
  • Assist with product testing, documentation, and internal QA
  • Contribute to knowledgebase articles, training materials, and process improvements
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, * 2+ years in a customer-facing or support-focused role

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to manage multiple support tickets and tasks simultaneously
  • Solid understanding of Windows and Microsoft Office
  • Basic understanding of PC hardware setup and configuration
  • Professional, patient, and customer-focused demeanor, * Prior help desk or application support experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft T-SQL
  • Experience creating user guides, documentation, or training content
  • Familiarity with routing, service, or billing workflows
  • Experience in the water quality industry (a plus, not required)

Work Schedule

  • Full-time, 40 hours/week
  • Hybrid: 2 days onsite in Northbrook (Tue/Wed), remaining days remote
  • Occasional schedule adjustments may occur based on business needs
