Data Architect and Modeler

• Design and deliver enterprise data architecture solutions across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Create ER, Logical, Physical, and Conceptual data models.
• Develop scalable Operational Data Stores and near real-time Data Warehouses.
• Establish and enforce enterprise data standards, governance policies, and best practices.
• Drive data reuse and maintain a single version of truth across enterprise data platforms.
• Facilitate and lead data modeling and architecture sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
• Design event-driven and streaming-based data warehouse architectures.
• Develop source-to-target mappings and reverse/forward engineering analysis.
• Build and optimize Snowflake data pipelines, stored procedures, and data sharing solutions.
• Perform SQL tuning and optimization for high-performance physical data models.
• Create dashboards and visualizations using Power BI.
• Develop Python scripts for alerts, automation, ingestion, and governance processes.
• Build and maintain enterprise Data Catalog and metadata lineage solutions.
• Support modern data architecture initiatives including Data Mesh and Domain Driven Design.

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture and data modeling.
• Extensive hands-on experience with ER, Logical, Physical, and Conceptual data modeling.
• Strong expertise using data modeling tools such as Erwin.
• Experience designing highly performant Operational Data Stores and near real-time Data Warehouses.
• Strong understanding of Kimball and Inmon data warehousing methodologies.
• Experience in data governance, metadata management, and maintaining a single source of truth.
• Strong SQL development, analysis, and performance tuning experience.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake including stored procedures, pipelines, and data sharing.
• Strong experience with MongoDB, Oracle Exadata, Hadoop, and Spark.
• Strong scripting skills using Python for automation, monitoring, and data integration.
• Experience facilitating data modeling and business requirement sessions with stakeholders.
• Experience with reverse and forward engineering analysis and source-to-target mappings.

Experience:

• 10+ years of data analysis and profiling experience in financial services.
• Experience working with account, card, payment, or digital processing systems.
• Experience with event streaming and event-driven data warehousing methodologies.
• Experience with Domain Driven Design (DDD), Data Mesh, Microservices Architecture, and Bounded Contexts.
• Experience designing and maintaining enterprise Data Catalog solutions.
• Experience with Alation, Collibra, or similar metadata management tools preferred.
• Experience with Matillion, SnapLogic, or DBT preferred.
• Experience with Power BI dashboard design and reporting.
• Strong Excel and Splunk experience including advanced macros and data analysis.
• Experience with BIAN, IBM Banking & Financial Markets Model, or ISO20022 preferred., * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to work in complex, fast-paced enterprise environments.
