Job description
We are a growing Microsoft and Google Cloud partner hiring a System Administrator Tier 2.5 to support hybrid client environments across cloud, servers, endpoints, networking, security, and project work.
This role is ideal for someone with MSP or multi-client IT experience who enjoys escalated support, client-facing technical ownership, and small to mid-sized project delivery. You will act as a key technical contact for clients, mentor junior technicians, and help improve cloud security, endpoint management, compliance, and cost efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key technical contact for clients and build strong client relationships
- Handle Level 2 and Level 3 escalations across Microsoft, cloud, server, endpoint, and network environments
- Support hybrid IT environments including on-prem infrastructure, cloud services, hardware, software, and security tools
- Monitor and improve Azure environments for security, compliance, performance, and cost efficiency
- Manage endpoints using Intune, including deployments, patching, security policies, and device management
- Troubleshoot desktops, servers, phones, networks, and cloud environments
- Lead small to mid-sized projects focused on security, collaboration, cloud optimization, or cost savings
- Mentor Level 1 technicians and help improve team knowledge and technical execution
Requirements
- Experience working for a Managed Service Provider or multi-client IT services environment
- 5+ years of escalation support, systems administration, or project-based IT experience
- Strong Microsoft cloud experience including Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, and Intune
- Experience supporting hybrid environments with servers, endpoints, networking, and cloud infrastructure
- Ability to troubleshoot Level 2 and some Level 3 technical issues independently
- Experience leading small to mid-sized client projects with minimal supervision
- Strong client-facing communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel to client sites within the Houston area as needed
