Job description

Transform technology into opportunity as an Oracle Database Administrator. In this role, you will connect and enhance critical enterprise IT systems. You will be at the forefront of innovation and play a meaningful part in improving how government agencies operate., * Create and maintain dynamic web pages using HTML, Oracle mod_plsql, Oracle webforms, and Oracle APEX.

  • Develop, maintain, and design Oracle tables and packages.
  • Patch and upgrade Oracle systems as required and monitor environments.
  • Manage data migration, including planning, cleansing, transformation, and testing.
  • Maintain analytical systems, verify data accuracy, and act as a liaison with business partners.
  • Maintain security and integrity controls for database systems.
  • Perform data analysis and testing of data migration scripts and stored procedures.
  • Create and maintain procedures to manage critical data.

Requirements

Education: A Bachelor of Science degree is required. An additional four years of relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree.

Experience: A minimum of five years of experience in database and data management is required. This includes experience in a fast-paced environment with engineering, development, deployment, and maintenance of business-critical systems.

Technical Skills:

  • Oracle 18c or higher, including Oracle RAC.
  • Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and query performance tuning.
  • Front-end scripting experience with JavaScript.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, AJAX, and JSON.
  • Experience with Linux-based systems hosting Oracle engines.
  • Ability to translate technical issues into understandable business language for end-users.
  • Ability to establish and document new standards for quality, performance, or productivity.

Certifications: A CompTIA Security+ CE certification is required.

Citizenship: United States citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Law Enforcement Data.
  • Database skills including Oracle PL/SQL, RDBMS modeling, Data Integrity, and SQL Developer/TOAD.
  • Operating System experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7/8.
