Job description

  • Engage in hands-on development, physically working with machines in a lab to test sensors and cycles.
  • Develop code, support architectures, document designs, and create Proof of Concepts for dispensing and IoT equipment systems.
  • Work cross-functionally with other development teams and stakeholders to document system requirements.
  • Integrate software and hardware developed by other internal divisions.
  • Participate in an Agile/SCRUM software development process.

Requirements

Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar technical field is required.

Experience: 5 or more years of hands-on, relevant software development experience is required. The candidate must be proactive and able to work independently.

Technical Skills:

  • Experience in embedded RTOS firmware development using C or C++. FreeRTOS is preferred.
  • Experience with serial communication protocols, specifically UART, SPI, and I2C.
  • Experience with ARM-based microcontrollers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ModBus and CanBus.
  • Experience with Bluetooth.
  • Bare-metal development experience.
  • Similar domain experience.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
