CGI is seeking an experienced InformaticaCloud Data Engineerto support and maintain cloud-based data management platforms and AWS infrastructure in a highly regulated financial services environment. This role will be responsible for developing, configuring, and supporting Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) solution., CGI is seeking an experienced InformaticaCloud Data Engineerto support and maintain cloud-based data management platforms and AWS infrastructure in a highly regulated financial services environment. This role will be responsible for developing, configuring, and supporting Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) solutions while automating infrastructure provisioning and operational processes across AWS environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC, AWS cloud services, infrastructure automation, and production support. The position requires troubleshooting complex technical issues, supporting mission-critical applications in a 24x7 environment, and collaborating with technical and business teams to deliver reliable cloud-based data solutions. This is a hybrid position based in Reston, VA, requiring onsite attendance currently three days per week, with the potential to increase to five days per week., CGI is seeking an experienced Informatica Cloud Data Engineer to support and maintain cloud-based data management platforms and AWS infrastructure in a highly regulated financial services environment. Requirements
Do you have experience in UNIX?, 5+ years of relevant IT engineering, cloud infrastructure, data engineering, or production support experience . Strong hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), including platform setup, configuration, and development . Experience working with Informatica Self-Service Workbench . Solid understanding of AWS cloud services, particularly EC2, Systems Manager (SSM), CloudFormation, CloudWatch, and Lambda . Proficiency in Python development and Unix/Linux shell scripting . Experience automating infrastructure provisioning and operational processes using Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, and/or Python . Ability to support and troubleshoot production environments with a focus on stability, performance, and issue resolution . Experience working within a 24x7 production support model . Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills . Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code practices and cloud operational best practices . Experience with Terraform module development is a plus . Exposure to Spark, PySpark, Amazon EMR/Hadoop, and AWS Glue is highly desirable . Strong communication, stakeholder interaction, and technical presentation skills . Effective time management and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
