Job description
- Provide software engineering and web development expertise in support of software development and day-to-day operations of system operations and maintenance activities
- Work on a team developing and maintaining a web-based thin-client software application
- Work on a team developing back-end services and processing
- Design and develop new capabilities/applications
- Derive requirements through interactions with the project management and systems engineering teams
- Develop, test, deploy and maintain software applications
- Follow Software deployment best practices
- Follow Configuration management workflows
- Support Integration testing
Requirements
Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
- Understanding of User Interfaces (UI)s, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
- Web Development Skills - Java, JavaScript, HTML, HTML5, CSS, cross-browser compatibility, Web User Interface Design, Security Principles, Object-Oriented Design, Web Services, Groovy, Grails, Angular
- Backend Development Skills - General knowledge of python and Java language
- As a requirement of continued employment, you will be required to obtain TS/SCI clearance
Desired:
- Some programming Skills/Experience
- Docker Containers
- Build tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab and CI/CD development philosophies

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
