Job description

This is a dynamic role that will vary day-to-day, involving:

  • Secure Stable Builds: Take total ownership of the build pipeline in Unreal Engine 5, ensuring builds are fast, predictable, and consistently reliable across platforms.
  • Pipeline Optimization & External Dev: Design, maintain, and continuously improve our CI/CD pipelines and automated workflows to reduce friction for programmers, artists, and designers-including external pipelines for seamless, secure collaboration with co-dev partners.
  • Source Control Mastery: Serve as the gatekeeper of the project repository. Take full ownership of our source and version control structures (branching strategies and data flows) to maintain absolute systemic consistency.
  • Machine & Hardware Deployment: Take charge of the studio's physical and virtual footprint. Manage machine deployments, local PC setups, and hardware configurations to ensure the team has the environment they need to perform.
  • Troubleshooting & Monitoring: Diagnose and resolve build and integration failures across the entire software stack to keep production moving smoothly.
  • Collaborate & Support: Work closely with technical leadership, QA, and content teams, helping disparate disciplines understand pipeline rules, data workflows, and optimization constraints.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Unreal Engine?, We welcome candidates with a strong IT, DevOps, or System Administration background who want to leverage their infrastructure skills in the games industry. We think your profile looks something like this:

  • Proven Experience: A solid track record in Build Management, DevOps, or IT Infrastructure engineering. Experience in the games industry is a major bonus, but not a strict prerequisite.
  • Pipeline & Source Control Mastery: Deep familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity) and robust source control management (e.g., Perforce/Helix Core, Git).
  • Automation Mindset: Strong proficiency in scripting languages (such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash) used to automate deployment and integration tasks.
  • Systems & Hardware Fluency: Exceptional organizational skills regarding complex data management, file dependencies, external networking pipelines, and physical hardware environments.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate workflow and production improvements clearly to everyone in the studio.
  • Cool Under Pressure: A mature, focused mindset when things get challenging, paired with professional curiosity and a genuine desire to create quality.

Benefits & conditions

  • Competitive salary.
  • 5 weeks of paid vacation annually.
  • Monthly stipend for meals and transportation.
  • Free private health insurance.
  • A yearly allowance for professional development, books, or courses.

From our office in central Barcelona, we offer a beautiful workspace featuring a rooftop terrace with great views, a vibrant community and plenty of after-work activities.
