Job description
We're looking for an experienced Lead Data Engineer to take a key role in shaping and delivering our data strategy., * Provide technical leadership to the Business Intelligence team, supporting and evolving CLEO Systems' data capability
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, architectures, and models
- Lead the development of our Enterprise Data Warehouse and associated platforms
- Collaborate with Product and Commercial teams to ensure systems capture and utilise data effectively
- Enable data-driven decision making across the organisation
- Contribute to the design of CLEO products by embedding analytics and reporting functionality
- Support the development of data policies and ensure compliance with evolving standards
- Create and maintain documentation, technical standards, and SOPs to improve resilience and reduce risk
Requirements
Do you have experience in Mentoring?, You'll be a strong technical leader with a passion for using data to drive meaningful impact.
We're particularly interested in candidates with:
- Proven experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and pipeline development
- Experience leading or mentoring technical teams
- At least 5 years within information, data architecture and engineering
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical teams
- Experience working with Product and/or Commercial teams
- A solid understanding of data governance and best practice, ideally within a regulated environment
- A proactive, collaborative mindset aligned with our values, * Proof of right to work in the UK
- A satisfactory basic DBS check
