Job description
DemandWorks is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented DevOps Engineer to support and optimize our cloud infrastructure and deployment environments. This role is ideal for someone passionate about automation, system reliability, cloud technologies, and continuous improvement. You will work closely with developers and technical leadership to build scalable deployment pipelines and maintain highly available production systems., * Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation processes.
- Manage and support cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Build and maintain containerized environments using Docker and related technologies.
- Monitor production systems, application performance, uptime, logging, and reliability.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational tasks using Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Collaborate with developers to improve deployment processes, scalability, and reliability.
- Manage Git-based source control workflows and deployment strategies.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues, support incident response, and perform root cause analysis.
- Implement security best practices across infrastructure and deployment environments.
- Maintain technical documentation for infrastructure and operational procedures.
- Support system upgrades, patch management, backups, and disaster recovery initiatives.
- Assist with cloud resource optimization and cost management.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Terraform?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, Applicants must be currently residing in the United States and legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship., * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 2-3 years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Support.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and automated deployment pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized environments.
- Experience managing infrastructure within AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with Linux administration and scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Understanding of networking concepts including DNS, SSL, firewalls, and load balancing.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability platforms.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins is preferred.
