Job description
This position requires navigating NetSuite, a complex inventory management software program, to facilitate customer returns using basic accounting principles. Furthermore, applicants should have experience working with computer hardware and software either through work, school, or as a hobbyist. You be testing and factory resetting computer firewalls, switches, and access points, among other electronics, on a daily basis. This position would be an ideal fit for an IT student.
The Returns Specialist facilitates customer returns accurately and efficiently. They must be a self-starter and have a positive attitude. They should be comfortable communicating via email, Teams, and telephone across multiple departments and with outside vendors. They will use their best judgement to maximize customer satisfaction while minimizing company losses.
Responsibilities
- Navigate ERP software (NetSuite) to create and process customer returns
- Request RMA from distributors and coordinate shipments with warehouse
- Facilitate warranty exchanges for items under manufacturer's warranty
- Provide support to our customer service team regarding denied returns, restocking fees, etc.
- Observe trends in return volume and escalate issues to management
- Clean, test and grade electronics for functionality
- Make and receive voice telephone calls
- Assist in basic warehouse functions including packing, labeling, and sorting
- General housekeeping: sweep, dust, remove trash, etc.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Warehouse experience?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Pass a background check and drug screen
- Lift 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Able to sit and/or stand for up to 8 hours; lift, bend, stretch, and reach; use a stepstool, ladder, and an industrial staircase
- Sufficient dexterity of hands and fingers to efficiently operate a computer keyboard, mouse, scanner, and other computer components
Education
- High school education or equivalent
Knowledge & Experience
- Computer hardware and software; basic Network Security concepts
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel
- Previous returns and/or warehouse experience preferred but not required, * Good decision making and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills

Compensation
This position is offered through Manpower as temp-to-hire. Well-performing employees may be hired by BlueAlly after 90 days of employment, subject to leadership approval. BlueAlly employee benefits are available after transition from Manpower to BlueAlly employment.
