Job description
CGI is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Functional Consultant with expertise in federal financial management to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of federal financial management processes and solutions, particularly in the areas of Funds Management, including budget execution and funds control. The successful candidate will play a key role in working closely with clients to lead workshops, understand requirements, design and present solutions, assist with configuring an SAP S/4HANA financial system, and support full lifecycle implementations across several federal government business process areas.
This position is located in one of CGI Federal's offices in Fairfax, VA; Lebanon, VA; Lafayette, LA; or Knoxville, TN; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to work in a CGI Federal office two days per week.
Your future duties and responsibilities:

Facilitate the gathering and validation of requirements; design, implement, and support SAP Financials; and understand the Public Sector module within SAP to enhance the client's business functionality and overall performance while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction.

Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements and translate them into system requirements, with the ability to identify gaps, issues, and work-around solutions.

Act as a liaison with the client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and resolve software problems; map client business requirements, processes, and objectives; and develop necessary product modifications to meet client needs.

Design, configure, and test FM, Public Sector Management (PSM), and Public Sector solutions for the Federal Government.

Serve as a primary resource for the successful implementation of SAP S/4HANA, including providing functional expertise, guidance, presentations, and instruction on SAP products to clients.
Requirements

Due to the nature of contract requirements, U.S. citizenship and successful completion of a CGI background check are required prior to beginning work. In addition, candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD/Public Trust clearance.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in federal financial management-preferably within the government or public sector-including at least 5 years of experience with federal financial implementations.

Expertise in federal financial management best practices, including demonstrations and test scripts.

Expertise in configuration and implementation of Financial Accounting (FI) and Funds Management (FM).

Knowledge of key integration points between SAP modules.

Excellent interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information in a manner that builds rapport and ensures understanding for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, resolve problems, and recommend solutions.

Strong organizational skills.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $100,800.00 - $245,500.00.
