Job description

We are seeking a Software Engineer for a position based in Aurora, Colorado. The role involves working in an Agile/Scrum environment, contributing to a mix of software development, modernization, and integration/test activities. The engineer will work independently on assigned tasks within a small team structure., * Participate in Program Increment (PI) planning sessions.

  • Engage in software development, modernization, and integration/test activities.
  • Work independently to complete story points in an Agile framework.
  • Collaborate within small teams and potentially move between groups based on project needs.

Requirements

Technical Skills:

  • Java
  • C++
  • Windows Server 2019
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Knowledge of ActiveMQ or WINE.
  • Experience with Command & Control (C2), Mission Management, or satellite ground systems.
  • Familiarity with AWS and CI/CD pipelines.
