The Information Technology Manager position is responsible for the planning, administration, security, maintenance, and ongoing support of the practice's technology infrastructure. This role ensures the reliability of clinical and business systems, supports all end users (staff), manages technology requirements, and develops long-term technology strategies aligned with the practice's goals. The IT Manager serves as the primary point of contact for all technology-related operations, projects, and user support. This role requires a "user-friendly" approach. This position would work alongside a managed service provider for projects and disaster recovery efforts., * Responsible for managing and maintaining all practice technology systems, including servers, workstations, mobile devices, network equipment, and clinical technology platforms.
- Responsible for routine systems updates, patches, and maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Responsible for Help Desk inquiries (40+/- end users):
- Provide technical support to all members of the PDG team, from physicians to administrative personnel.
- Respond to and resolve hardware, software, network, and application issues in a timely manner.
- Deliver support in a dynamic environment where demand may vary from minimum activity to high-volume support periods.
- Develop documentation, training materials, and user guidance as needed.
- Responsible for troubleshooting with end users.
- Requires the ability to discern an issue and explain the solution in a friendly/teaching manner.
- Responsible for conducting weekly updates and ongoing maintenance of practice-related systems.
- Responsible for monitoring system health, performance, and security across the organization.
- Responsible for maintaining and supporting Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365 environments, including ongoing optimization and cleanup activities.
- Responsible for administering Active Directory, user accounts, group policies, permissions, and authentication services.
- Responsible for managing network infrastructure, including switches, wireless access points, internet connectivity, VPN access, and security controls.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network, connectivity, and infrastructure issues.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity best practices.
- Responsible for user management:
- Provision, modify, and deactivate user accounts and access permissions.
- Configure and maintain desktop computers, laptops, tablets, iPads, kiosks, and other endpoint devices.
- Manage device deployments, reassignments, inventory, and lifecycle tracking.
- Ensure appropriate security and compliance standards are maintained across all devices.
- Responsible for performing and monitoring weekly system backups.
- Manage monthly backup drive rotation procedures utilizing a three-drive rotation schedule.
- Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity procedures.
- Responsible for developing long-range planning recommendations for the owners.
- Responsible for managing technology projects, system implementations, and vendor relationships.
- Remains current on advances in technology specific to the healthcare field.

Pay: $83,467.00 - $125,011.00 per year
Requirements

- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
