- Provision and manage environments across 20+ clusters, ensuring consistency, scalability, and reliability.
- Perform resource scaling, version upgrades, and maintenance across platforms including MuleSoft (Mule 4.x), Java (Java 21), Kubernetes, AMIs, and Elasticsearch.
- Establish and enforce cluster governance, security standards, and access control across all environments.
- Drive cost optimization strategies across cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
- Maintain standardized configurations using infrastructure-as-code and centralized tooling.
- Modernize CI/CD pipelines and toolchains to improve deployment speed, quality, and standardization across teams.
- Build and enhance self-service tools that enable development teams to provision and manage resources independently.
- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and platform teams to ensure best practices in cloud architecture and delivery.
Requirements
CSI Companies is seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer to support enterprise platform environments across multiple clusters. This role focuses on environment provisioning, modernization, automation, and governance across distributed systems, with an emphasis on MuleSoft, Kubernetes, and scalable infrastructure., Work Authorization: Candidates must be eligible to work on W2 and must not require sponsorship now or in the future., * Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
- Experience managing enterprise MuleSoft environments (Mule 4.x preferred).
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline design and modernization.
- Knowledge of version upgrades and platform lifecycle management (Java, AMIs, Elastic Search).
- Strong understanding of cloud security, access control, and governance frameworks.
- Experience working with distributed systems across multiple environments and clusters.
- Ability to balance performance, scalability, and cost optimization in cloud environments.
Nice to have
- Experience with large-scale enterprise environments (20+ clusters or similar scale).
- Exposure to platform engineering or internal developer platform initiatives.
- Strong scripting or programming experience (Python, Bash, etc.).
- Experience building self-service infrastructure tools or portals.
