Job description
The IT manager provides hands-on technical assistance and support to end-users, ensuring timely resolution of hardware, software, and network-related issues. This role manages the helpdesk ticketing system, troubleshoots technical problems, and delivers high-quality customer service to maintain smooth day-to-day operations. Responsibilities include installing, configuring, and maintaining desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals, as well as supporting and updating software applications and system tools. This role will also assist with hardware asset management, software licensing, and documentation to ensure compliance with company standards and IT best practices. This role will work with TPA to ensure that our company's technology systems are reliable, up-to-date, and meet the needs of the company. This candidate will work closely with senior leadership to develop technology policies to be administered throughout the company. This is an on-site role and will require the candidate to be present at our Irvine, CA headquarters., * Ensure smooth delivery and operation of IT services by monitoring systems performance
- Create processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support of systems
- Provide multi-site technical support for both hardware and software issues our users encounter
- Manage the configuration and operation of client-based computer operating systems
- Respond immediately to security or usability concerns with supervisor
- Create and verify data backups of key systems
- Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security
- Microsoft Azure Tenant/Microsoft 365/AWS
- Antivirus / Anti-malware management
- Server / Workstation patch management
- Printer management
- Network switch port management
- VOIP/Contact Center phone system management
- Install and test computer-related equipment
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows Server administration?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience working in IT operations, supervising technology teams, and overseeing large information technology projects
- Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in: Windows Server 2019 & up, Windows 10 & up / Office 2016 & up, Hyper-V, VMware
- Certifications a plus: Microsoft (Fundamentals, MCDST, MCTS, MCP, MCSE), CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, etc
- Ability to prioritize and quickly troubleshoot and resolve problems using a wide variety of tools
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements
- Respond to emergency situations effectively, maintaining poise and focus
- Availability and Willingness to Perform Duties During Extended / Off Hours
